A custom e-tune is done via email. This tune option covers the full tune of your current mod setup. If you have a cobb accessport, We can incorporate 5 way map switching, LC, FFS etc in this tune. The customer must have a Cobb Accessport programmer before a custom tune can be completed.

Please select the appropriate tune from the drop down menu. If you add the e30 tune, you will receive a full 91/93 tune, as well as the e30 tune ad Once the tune has been purchased, you will receive and email with the required info needed for the tune. Please respond to that email with all the necessary info.

Well spoke to someone at Cobb. They told me to re-request the ATR download saying that I might have gotten a corrupted file. So I re-downloaded it. It now works fine, which is good cause after doing some logs I need to do some work in ATR.

  • Jun 24, 2014  Cobb's boost control strategy involves removing a lot of the limiters and disabling a lot of stock control strategies. While that isn't necessarily bad, as OEMs have to worry about meeting CARB standards and safety standards and all kinds of government regulations, that doesn't mean you cant maintain a lot of those safeties and limitations and still have the added power of a boost control.
  • Thought I'd give a heads up in case anyone here was thinking of buying an AccessPort with the hope of tweaking their own tunes, as I did. Cobb has removed Accesstuner Race, the free version of their tuning software previously accessible to all AccessPort owners, and has announced that the new version will be locked behind a paywall - a basic online training course offered by a third party.

How Does e-tuning work-

eTuning is the process of creating a custom calibration (custom tune) for your specific vehicle based on vehicle datalogs that are taken with your programmer. The process is very simple for you. Once we have your vehicle and mod info, you will receive a custom base map that is specific to your vehicle and mods. With each calibration that is sent you will also get some basic instructions on a few datalogs that need to be taken with each calibration file. This process should be fun, so enjoy the tuning process! Don't stress out if the datalogs aren't perfect.

Once we see the datalogs, we will analyze the data provided by the PCM (powertrain control module) and the advanced sensors that are on the vehicle. With this data we can see exactly what the vehicle is doing and how it is performing and start making the necessary changes to dial in the car. Once the next calibration is ready, you will receive an email with the analysis, and a new map to flash the PCM with and some new instructions on datalogs that are needed. Then we rinse and repeat until the car is completely dialed in!

    • Map switching slot notifier will no longer appear when only 1 map slot is configured. If 2 or more slots are configured, the notifier will work as normal.
